An empathetic and customer service-minded individual. One with a positive attitude and who genuinely cares about customer service with a high level of commitment. The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the parts department, ensuring efficient management of inventory, procurement, and sales of parts and equipment. This role involves maintaining a well-organized inventory system, ensuring that the right parts are readily available for service and repair operations while also maximizing profitability. The person in this role will design, implement, and optimize parts department processes.  Most importantly, they will attract, retain, and effectively engage department personnel forming an amazing team!

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensuring sufficient stock of essential parts.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory to identify slow-moving items and manage stock levels accordingly.
  • Implement efficient storage methods for easy access to parts.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Monitor and streamline the ordering process to meet production schedules and service needs.
  • Lead and motivate the department staff, providing training and development opportunities.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and set goals for the team.
  • Foster a positive work environment and uphold company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

  

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or related field is a plus.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
  • Ability to effectively lead and work as a member of a team.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge, and general software experience.
  • Proven experience in parts management, preferably in an RV, automotive, or equipment dealership highly desired but not required.
