A Day in the Life as Human Resources Manager: Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation, performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately. The Human Resource Manager will act as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers. You would administer benefits programs, assist with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations. The Human Resource Manager attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Lastly, you will ensure we maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
